- Turkey (Turkish: Türkiye), officially the Republic of Turkey is a country located in the bulk of the South-West Asia and a small part in South-Eastern Europe. Is the Bosporus and the Dardanelles straits and the Marmara Sea - that link the Black Sea to the Aegean and Asia, of Europe - in its territory, which makes its strategic and influential countries bordering the Black Sea. Bordered by Georgia and Iran, Armenia and Azerbaijan in the east, Iraq and Syria and the Mediterranean Sea in the south with the sea border with Cyprus, the Aegean Sea, Greece and Bulgaria in the west, the Black Sea to the north.
